Charles Atkin Census Look up

Can some one please help me with a Census look up for a Charles Atkin who was born in Girton, Nottingham in 1830.  I would love to get a copy of his household details for both the 1841 and 1851 census.

Hi Darren

               I have been following through with little success. I can see your chap in 1881 yet no likely prior to that. No Atkins b Girton at all. This chap I have found appears again in 1861 in Staff, still with Eliza and Mary and a Son William b Staff 1860. 1871 I can't see him or Eliza yet there is a William aged 11 in Workhouse in Staff. Could your chap have been previously married? Kris

If you are sure the 1881 Charles born Girton is yours, then this looks like him in 1871. Let us know what you think and then we can take it back further if it's the right man?

Hi Heather and Kris

I have him in the 1881 Census born in abt 1830 in Girton Nottingham so the details you have found in the 1871 Census are certainly him Heather.  In 1881 he was living with his wife Elizabeth Atkin who was born in Averham in 1836, so th emarriage certificate details you found also correspond.  The 1881 census also recorded a daughter, Sarah,  aged 32 living with him; which up until you supplied me with the 1871 census I presumed was a transcription error!  So that means in the 1861 census and 1851 census he was married to someone else.  I hope that gives you enough to find him in these two census?
