I don't know if you can help again I have new parents for William Walker born 1844 have found him married to a Mary Ann Hughes 1868 it gives his parents as Margaret Roddick maiden name spelt in a variety of ways Rodic/Reddick/Riddick . Mary Hughes dies after giving birth to Mary so could be our Mary. Margaret Roddick born 1820-1830 Gallowayshire might
be down as Wigtonshire/Kirkcudbrightshire/Dumfries. She's put Leswalt on her
1871 return, although the rest of siblings that we know of have Stranraer as
birth place.
William 1844 born Glasgow so we are searching for her in Glasgow 1851-1861 not with her son we have found him at home with grandfather she could be on her own or with husband William Walker but he must die at which year we do not know so she could also be with him. Any help in finding this couple or Margaret on her own would be much appreciated. Terri
