Trying to trace the name Robert Heggie.  Some of his children married in Greenock Renfrew.  Robert came from Ireland and was known as Robert Higgie.  Travelling from Ireland to Scotland they changed their name from Higgie to Heggie.  Anybody any ideas???????  The part of Ireland they came from was Downpatrick.
