seeking Daniel McKechnie

Hi, My ancestor Daniel McKechnie and his wife Jane and 2 kids
lived at 134 Rutherglen Road Huchesontown Glasgow at 1891
census.  AT the 1901 census Jane was living with her 3 kids at her brothers, Archibald McMillan in Camlachie  but no Daniel.  Did he do a runner.?

Have you been able to track down Daniel and Jane's death certificates, as these may help you find the answer to this question?

hi Clare
               I have tried to track Daniel down Through his death cert. but to no avail, I have tried every combination on Scotlands People. Rumours have it he went to America and died in the earthquake at San Francisco.  I think I will have to get Mrs. Marples on the case.  Thanks
