1861 lookup Margaret Walker Glasgow

Would any one be able to look for Margaret Walker born 1820-1830 Stranraer/Wigtown/Kirkcudbrightshire/ she may be with a Georgina Walker 13 in 1861 or she could be on her own or a slim possibility with her husband William Walker but he may have died by 1861 she could be in Carlton need help :-\ many thanks

I have had a look in the index to the 1861 census of Glasgow. It does not list a Margaret Walker of the right age born in any of those counties, or a Georgina Walker.

The full 1861 census is online at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Forfarian

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
