Thomas Plews 1842 Cencus lookup

Would appreciate if anyone can do a lookup for the following Thomas Plews.  His wife Janet Plews (nee Mackay)died in 1838 but i am hoping Thomas is still there as he wasnt in his home town of Bedale in North Yorkshire.  The address is 1 Saxe Coburg Place Edinburgh.  Possibly with any of his sons, John Mackay Plews, Thomas R M, Walter E or Henry T Plews.
