Burial in Loughton area - Seckington COMPLETE THANK YOU
« on: Sunday 29 January 06 10:37 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to trace what happened to Daniel Seckington.

He was born in June 1816 in Loughton and his parents and siblings seem to have lived in Loughton or Shenley (Church End or Brook End) for all of their lives.  He can't be found in the 1841 or later censuses, nor in the GRO registers.

Can anyone find any evidence of his burial in the NBI or the parish registers please.

David

Thank you Frances.

It looks like the right Daniel and leads me down some interesting paths because although both Daniel and his mother were born in Loughton I have always thought my best bet for his father, who inconveniently died in 1846, was a William Seckington born in Mixbury Oxfordshire.  Akeley is on a line between the two and nearer Mixbury.

Thank you again

David
