Hi,
Can any one suggest which Cemetery Authority would be most likely to have records of the internment of my 2 x Gt Grandfather who died in the Cardiff area in 1883?   Details as follows,
BENJAMIN BENONI HEADFORD.  died 22nd April 1883.  Aged 36.
at 94 HOLMSEDALE STREET, LOWER GRANGETOWN, CARDIFF.
Sub district on death cert, MARWOLAETH yn Is-ddosbarth.

BENJAMIN was a mariner from BRIDGWATER, SOMERSET.

Hi Ian,

Try Cardiff City Council on 02920623294.This is their Bereavement Service.I know they have computerised their records so they should be able to help.I expect your G,Grandparents were buried in Cathays Cemetery but with a bit of luck they should be able to tell you.

I did a similar check last year and found them very helpful.
