Hi -

Do you have the 1841 census - Vale, Guernsey:

Le Noury
William  30 Quarryman  Y (i.e. born in Guernsey)
Rachel 30 Y
William 5 Y
Nicholas 3 Y
Rachel  2 Y

I don't know for sure if this is right, but the children should tie in if it is (remember the adults ages are rounded).

So I estimate they would have been married, probably in Guernsey, about 1835.  Unfortunately I don't have regular access to the Guernsey bmd records - they are in the Priaulx Library, Guernsey:  see  www.priaulx.gov.gg
