Hi there,
My mother once in passing mentioned that their had been quakers in my grandfathers family. This was when I was a little girl.
She now says she has no recall on this matter and no one else seems to know anything about it.
The family she referred to were Birmingham based.
Is there a local Quaker Church or group that I could contact?
The family name was Read.

The quaker records for B'ham are held here:

They are probably held at the B'ham Central library also,you can email them and ask what collection they have.
