« on: Monday 30 January 06 16:19 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for information about Samuel Hammond who died in 1842  Newtown district of Montgomeryshire. Presume therefore that he was living in Montgomeryshire in 1841  he would have been a great age about 70+ .  Would also like to know if the census shows any living wife etc. and address if possible.

I have had a look for Samuel's death on FreeBMD (deaths are complete for 1842 and 1843) but cannot find any record.  Can I ask where you got the death information from?

Secondly, I had a quick look for him in the 1841 census but couldn't see anything.  Do you know his year/place of birth?
