Would any kind person be able to tell me which district of Glasgow North Woodside Road would be in maybe Blythewood or Tradestown it would be a great help to me as I am searching for the death of someone living there and if I knew the district it would cut things down a little. many thanks in anticipation. North Woodside Road is in Kelvin area of Glasgow.  But be careful as districts boundaries change and also may not have died where you think.

Thank you, I forgot to say this would be 1866-1868 as bounderies change. I haven't heard of Kelvin.

In 1913 North Woodside Road was in both Kelvin and Woodside areas both were part of Milton which in the period 1855-1873 would have been registration district 644-7 (possibly also extended into Blytheswood 644-6 or Central 644-1)

Have a look at
Glasgow City Council maintained cemeteries

I was going to suggest the Western Necropolis but I've just checked and found that the first burial there was in 1882 .... it looks like a difficult task ahead of you as it is more than likely that your targets would have been buried in the local parish churchyard ... but there are (or were) a lot of churches in that area.

You could try

The Mitchell Library
