Rev Edward Craig

Trying to find info re Rev. Edward Craig.  He baptized my ggg grandfather, Edward Craig Corner in 1832 at St James Episcopal Church, Edinburgh.

I have looked at Edinburgh University archives online and there seems to be a few papers and letters of his. 

From info there be was born around 1789? and seemed to deliver a few lectures etc. as well as Minister.  I have found that one site says "St Edmund Hall, Oxford, Curate of Watton", he delivered lectures at Staines Literay Institution in 1836, he preached at St Paul's Chapel, Carruber's Close, 1820.

I can found no personal info re birth, parents, etc.  I am sure there may be some family connection there as Edmund Corner and Teresa Byrne named their first son after him

Any help would be most appreciated.
