Hello Christopher,
My GGF was a SGT Musketry Instructor in the 2nd Btn Royal Dublin Fusiliers. He joined in 1872 when they were the Royal Bombay Fusiliers. I know he was stationed in Ireland 1885-1892 when his children were born. He died in Dublin 1900 inf a flu epidemic after his discharge.
Is there any info on the Site for that era?
Thanks,
Bob.

Hi Christopher,

My gr-gf James Edward Rhodes was a Colour Sergeant stationed at Marshalsea Barracks, Dublin in 1901.

I presumed he was in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers because his son Cecil Victor Rhodes was a member of the regiment in 1921.

Can you tell me if there were other regiments stationed in Marshalsea Barracks in 1901?

Thanks for your help
