George Nimmo

I am trying to track down George Nimmo was Mason, he was born about 1794 in Glasgow and married about 1822 possibly in Sorn Ayrshire to Elizabeth Aaron.
They lived in the Tradeston/Lauriston areas of Glasgow in the 1820s they had 2 children ( there may have been others) namely William bap 18/04/1824 and Elizabeth bap 14/05/1826.
After that I can't find them I am wondering whether George and Elizabeth were still alive in 1841, I suspect they were deceased by 1851.
William married in 1848 at Alloa Clackmanashire to Janet Blair.

Hi Dave,

I don't know if this is of much help but someone else has created a website showing his own Nimmo ancestry, mostly from West Lothian & Stirlingshire. I couldn't find your Nimmos mentioned on there but it could be worth a look:
