Su Here a song i Found You will have to find it on Cd Elvis Singing,

          Angel            :D
(Words & music by Sid Tepper - Roy C. Bennett)
Angel, with those angel eyes
Come and take this earth boy
Up to paradise

Angel, may I hold you tight?
Never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight

If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn

Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you

Angel, never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight

If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn

Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you

Angel, Angel

It's  on the cd Elvis sings for Kids a Cheep Album  ;D

Thanks Ruthie, Stella, G, and Chui.

I think I've heard that song G, thanks for the words.

I got to thinking earlier that some people never actually get hugs.  I have certain friends who rarely get hugs for various reasons, so I always give them one when we meet.  It must be sad not having someone to give you a hug every day.

Hubby and I never pass each other in the bungalow without a stroke of the arm, or neck, hug or pat on the bum.

So if you know someone who is lonely, or someone who is not very tactile because they don't know how to be....start by giving them a quick hug on meeting and leaving, you'll be surprised how much it means to them, and it will brighten up their day, and give them a warm glow inside  :D

Su

I really agree with that, I am quite a tactile person, my friends and I always hug on meeting.

My sister on the other hand, hates being hugged or touched by anyone but her husband and children, but there have been a couple of occasions over the years when for various reasons either she or I have needed a hug and we have hugged and to this day it really means something special.

My fareaway friends and I send hugs via email, which is lovely and brings us closer.

One very, very, special hug I shall never forget was from my darling Dad.  He and Mum had come to stay with us for a couple of weeks, and one morning we were in the kitchen alone making a cup of tea.  We were having a laugh and joke, and he opened his arms and said...come here... he gave me a big bear hug and said...you're lovely.... That's the first time he ever said anything like that to me, although he showed he loved me and was proud of me in various ways.  It was a special moment that will stay will me until the day I die.
