1861/1871 look-up - John Tasker b.circa 1854
« on: Tuesday 07 February 06 15:30 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to trace the family background of John Tasker who became the dock constable at Swansea.
He was born about 1854 in Pembrokeshire - possibly in Burton.
On his marriage certificate his father's name is given as George, profession: painter and he had already died (1874)
His daughter Annie married a cousin called David Tasker so David's Dad, who may have been George born about 1853 in Carew, Pembroke*, might feature in the family. (*From information recently come to light.)
Thank you for any help you can give.
