Bentleys of Kilnwick; Stamfords of Aldbrough...

Anyone else out there researching the Bentley family of Kilnwick,( I'm back to Thomas and Mary,married in 1808), or the Stamford family from Aldbrough,(back to Joseph and Anne,married in1821),........all ended up in Hull!    Also the Wilson family (there'll be hundreds of those of course!!!)
from Sculcoates ( Robert, born about 1809 and his wife Jane, born about 1812 )??

Have you come across William Bentley who survived the Charge of the Light Brigade.  He was a Kilnwick Bentley and is buried in York cemetery.

Yes, I've got William in my tree!! At the moment, I'm trying to get further back, I'm at William's father, Thomas, and his mother, Mary. I need to get to the County Records office when I'm able to do any more!

24th April 1830, Robert Wilson, Cooper, Bachelor & Jane Heale (She signs with a X) spinster botp Banns by Wm Keary, witnessed by Samuel Brookes & John Bradbury.
