1851-1861 lookup please

Can anybody please help me locate a JANET MCINTOSH born about 1810 in Edinburgh. She had a child named John sometime in 1851. Sorry I do not have her husbands name. Thanks

Hello Finch, firstly, what was her son's surname? Without her married name it could be anyone named Janet on the census. If her son was born Circa 1851 then you should try the OPR's on Scotlands People. It will give you both parent's names, for a marriage record, this will show the groom but not necessarily her parents.

Hi Gen10,
McIntosh was her married name but I do not know her husbands full name. Her son was John William McIntosh born about 1851 in Edinburgh.
