Baptism Help (Ramsden)
« on: Thursday 09 February 06 16:09 GMT (UK) »
Hi Guys I'm looking for a middle name of one of my ancestors.

I have highlighted him below in bold.

I'm sure he is called John Edwin MOSS.

Does anyone have any baptism registers for Ramsden?

Thanks

Hi Toby

Thanks, I don't suppose you could check the marriage of George and Ester in Ramsden?

Thankyou very much for the look up!

Hi Myfi

Thanks that looks good!!  They had a daughter Jane aged 10 on the 1841 census so the time scale would be about right!!  Where did you find that info on IGI site?

Just wondering if you know who was the Father?

I can see this was posted a long time ago but through dna I’m sure my paternal great grandad was illegitimate child of one of George moss and Esther westburys children with a high probability of it being Albert moss who would have been a brother of your John moss. I have many dna matches to the moss family and the pratley and peachey family’s so we are prob related 😂😂
Oconnor/Ayres/Bennett....Wardington
Timms/bowerman...charlbury water Eaton  Middleton  cheney
Ianson Darlington
Moss pratley
 peachey
Dna matches to loveridge smith Boswell Lovell
