It has been a while since my last post on this - Unfortunately I have still not found out the name of the Lewes magazine who wanted to write about Tom Mantell.

However I have found an article dated May 1953 from a local newspaper about a plaque being placed in the private ward at Victoria Hospital, Lewes in memory of Tom Mantell, seems he was a benefactor to the hospital, so I thought I would share this info.

Now I am wondering if the plaque is still there ? as I may well visit Lewes sometime, if anyone knows
if it is or not that would be most appreciated.
