Hertfordshire Census on CD?
« on: Saturday 25 September 04 16:50 BST (UK) »
Hi All,
Can someone please tell me where I might be able to purchase the 1851 census for Hertfordshire...Ware in particular.
I would like a CD but will take anything.
I'm up against a brick wall with my Page family and the only the 1851 can save me! :-[

If you go to www.mycensuses.com, Gordon Beavington has confirmed that they are scanning 1851 Hertfordshire as their next project due for completion in around 6 weeks.  While these sets are not as refined, with street/area indexes (unless they've changed since the last one I purchased) etc, as their more expensive counterparts, they are often better quality than some and much cheaper.  I've no links to them but am a happy customer of a number of sets.
