Very Interesting!  My grandfather was a Job Fisk, living in Stratford, then Romford in the 1950s, and I understand that he was a Suffolk lad, though not sure from where.
I was told that he was originally in the building trade and had worked up around Ongar.  Married with (damn....memory....) five sons and a daughter.

Possible connection?
