William Keen where was he in 1891 and 1901?
« on: Sunday 18 January 04 22:05 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for William Keen /Kean born in 1847 in Measham, Derbyshire.

In the 1881 census William Kean aged 33 Years is found in the Nottingham Jail,

But what happened to him after that ?

I know he lived at Verdum Villa, Measham until his death around 1912

Would anyone have access to the 1891 census to do a lookup ?

There does not seem to be a likely candidate on the 1901 census,  under either spelling of the name.  Is it possible he was overseas?

The 1881 census says he is married,  do you know anything of his wife,  a search on her may help.
