Census data of LLANFRYNACH, Brecon
« on: Sunday 12 February 06 13:37 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know if I can look online to the full census of the village of Llanfrynach? The village is only of 380 people most of the time, so it would be interesting to see ALL that live in the village. In 1901, 1891, 1881, 1871, 1861, 1951 etc.
I can see then my own family, the names of the ministers, school teachers, butches, bakers and candle stick markers. Maybe to note the names of the children who will later become the partners of my family.
Is there a web site to visit, to see the full villages names at the time of the census?
Can anyone guide me, where or how to look or may have a copy of the names at the village?

Hi David,

www.ancestry.co.uk have complete census returns from 1851 through 1901.
It's a pay site but they offer free trials - 14 usually but I hear 30 days currently.
The trials are free, but you have to give them your credit card details.

Many thanks tanja for your help.
I am looking for a village census, so that I can read all the names living in the village at the same time, rather then looking for names I know. I would like to know who was living in the same homes in the times of the census.

Thanks again David

You can do that on ancestry...
Just type the village name in the search field and trawl through the pages.
