Marriages for Blandford

Hi there

has anyone got access to marriages for Bandford Forum (I think, tho' not ruling out St Mary), for pre 1800?

In my tree I have a brick wall with a Sarah Churchill born around 1800 - parets were John & Sarah.

I don't know Sarah's maiden name or any other issue.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You could try the Dorset OPC. There are some  entries for Sarah Churchill's.

Thanks for your interest .. yes I have used that site a lot in the course of my research, it's brilliant, however their transcriptions do not cover the periods that I require.

Hi

Not wishing to spread alaram and despondency - BUT  - weren't there issues about Blandford records having been destroyed at some point? I think  that's why there is so little info on the OPC site. I stress  I may be wrong!
