MILNER in Stamford
« on: Monday 27 September 04 07:51 BST (UK) »
Have run into the brick wall with my gr gr grandfather, Thomas Milner (married to a Jane either Peck/Pock) who had his children in Stamford - both would have been born bet.1800-1816).  Their children were John (b c1832); Mary (b c1834); Thomas (b c1836); Robert (b. 12/1936 & m Ann Garland).  There were a couple of other children but they died at a young age.  Robert is my gr grandfather and I have info about his descendants  which I'm willing to share.  Any information about either his parents or his siblings would be appreciated.

I have three Robert Milners who are direct ancestors.  Born 1791 in Manby, his father born 1768 Wold Newton, and his father born c.1731, possibly in East Halton.  All farmers.   So far Stamford hasn't come into my picture.  Have you relatives in these towns or, last century, in Middle Rasen (where the name changed to Miller).
