I believe Wath on Derne is in Rotherham Reg.District
Could this be him ??

Surname  First name(s)    District  Vol  Page

Births Mar 1885
~~~~~~~~
Cusworth  Samuel Bower     Rotherham  9c 703
and:
Surname  First name(s)    District  Vol  Page
~~~~~~~~
Marriages Sep 1909
~~~~~~~~
CUSWORTH  Samuel    Rotherham  9c 1107
DAY  Mary Ellen     Rotherham  9c 1107
MORRIS  Mary Ann     Rotherham  9c 1107
SYMES  William     Rotherham  9c 1107
If it is, then his wife was called Mary,  but Mary DAY or Mary MORRIS ??
Found him on freeBMD, which had an update recently.
Yorkshire BMD (http://www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk/) also had an update recently,
but no Cusworth births in 1885 !
That's great !
Just remember that freeBMD and Yorkshire BMD get updated regularly, so if all else fails then do as the germans do: "Abwarten und Tee trinken !"  (wait, and drink tea !)
(although I bet a RootsChatter will find something, somewhere, for you, before you've drunk too-oo much tea !)
Any ideas where Mary came from. It wasn't Wath.
On this site: http://www.censusfinder.com/england-census-records6.htm I found a whole lot of links to Yorkshire census return and indexes. There was one to a surname index for Wath upon Dearne (note the spelling !) with CUSWORTH but no MORRIS and no CLEWES, so she wasn't local.
