hello,
looking for any information on Elsie Lawrence, who moved to Brigg then Hull in 1920 and became a miliner. Is she mentioned in the trades directories. she was born in 1900 in Hertfordshire.

I've  had a look under Milliners in the 1936 Kelly's Directory for Hull and she is not listed. There are several large companies listed there so she may have worked for one of them.
