This family name keeps appearing.  Does anyone else have an Abraham Laird in their tree?

Hi Russell

I have 13 Abrahams from 1735 to 1856 in Stirling.  Abraham b abt 1735 is believed to be the son of Alex. Laird & Agnes McLuckie but I have never found his birth.  The couple married abt 1735 & I have 7 other children for the couple but not Abraham.  I also have not found their marriage. Some of the children were christened in the Saint John Street Associated session Stirling.  Alex was born in St Ninians and the family moved to Larbert.

As Abraham is such a strong family name I though that anyone else with an Abraham Laird in their tree would connect with me somehow.

Hi Dano

I was just drawing out a bit more info from you . Putting in one name often limits the responses you will get.  Giving a bit more detail catches the eye, sometimes when the person is looking for something entirely different. If you are only posting a few names putting them in'bold' or caps also helps.
There are lots of folk like me who trawl just for interset untila name or place catches the attention
'The hook has been baited. What (or who) will it catch?'
