George and Frederick Smith Help Needed
« on: Thursday 16 February 06 20:51 GMT (UK) »
I am clutching at straws and hoping someone can help me.

Frederick Smith was my Grandfather, he was born c1885 in Warwickshire I hope. I know he died 18/01/1961. He married my Grandmother Alice Young 30/05/1909 in Whitnash.

The only other things that I know about him was that at stages in his life he was a Grocer, Porter and Army Pensioner

The only other thing is that his Father was George Edward Smith who was a Cellerman. I don't know his Mothers name.

I cannot find them on any census or anywhere else.  >:(

I will be gratefull for any help.  ;)

Thank you Alison I don't know about Frederick Smith but I don't think it would be Alice Young as I have her on 1901 census living at Whitnash Warwickshire with her Mother and Half Sister.

I will certainly look into the Frederick it might be him!!!!!

Regards
Christine

I don't think the Frederick is right as my Frederick would only be 16 in 1901.

Thanks anyway
