Teletext - help with research
« on: Tuesday 28 September 04 09:52 BST (UK) »
Browsing on teletext I found the Family Tree pages on Channel 4 (pages 154/155)
Though I'd post a request, and I got 2 different replies leading to the same info. I was able to confirm with a birth certificate.
It's not as good as Rootschat, or as fast but it is another
free avenue down which to go and it certainly helped me.
Look for yourself and see what you think!
Regards, Olly.

Good thinking Olly, there are some researchers who don't use the internet (how do they manage?) but they might rely on teletext to make new contacts.
I shall 'tune in' later.
