Dear Arranroots;
I've been researching my family history for about three years but I'm abviously still a novice! I don't know how I did'nt find them on the 1871 census when all the names are spelt correctly- thank you very much for your help.
I have already confirmed this will be the same family- with Eliza being a widow and Frank being only aged 1; Henry must have died in previous year- I found an entry on freebmd showing Henry GREEN died in Billesdon in Mar qtr 1871, aged 38.
Finding Henry on the 1861 census will be harder- I have an age, but he was'nt married, had no children, I know his father was Thomas, but only have Bletchley, or Hendon as possible areas of residence.

Yes- I had the census returns for JANES- but thanks anyway!
 GREEN is going to be very difficult to say if he is the same one- I really need to find one living with a father named Thomas!

Hi again Hands  :)

I have posted a request to identify the place of birth of the Henry posted above - essential if we are to find out who he was with in 1841.

Although there is a chance he was away from home then too!

It would be worth getting the death cert in case his father is the informant.  Unlikely but possible.

Will let you know if anyone has any bright ideas about the place of birth.

;)

Sorry I can't be much use with the Greens, but I do have an interest and quite a bit of information on the Malbons of Staffordshire, and some on the Brains too. Would be happy to help with these if I can.

Malbon;
thanks for your message, yea I would be interested in any info on the Brains and Malbons.
George Brain c.1858 Longton; married Annie Marie Malbon, c.1870 Longton, they had children Eliza, George, Jane, Sarah and William.
I have all the info I need on Sarah, but would be very grateful on any of the following details you have on Sarah's siblings and parents:
1. exact dates of birth.
2. middle names.
3. details of spouses and occupations.
4. death dates and burial sites.
5. 1861 and 1871 census entries for parents.
please let me know if I can help you with any information you are missing.
