I always had a laugh at the estate agent's boards I saw in Worcestershire - Doolittle & Dalley!

They must be good to stay in business with a name like that!

If we are talking about non family, then there used to be a butcher near where I live called A Veale :o  8);D - honest!! ;D
Stiff - Monmouthshire & Glos, Parry - Monmouthshire
Stafford - Glos, Liles - Glos, Bright- Glos, Webb - Monmouthshire & Glos, Smart - Glos, Smith - Glos
Sullivan - Ireland, Jones (oh dear! Almost as bad as Smith), Walker - Somerset, Llewellyn
And, no don't laugh...Crump...I think it's great!

And of course, if I ever do manage to do a successful look up it is crown copyright and all that legal stuff!

Did know a STAKE family years ago. They had a dearly loved, unexpected late arrival, daughter but I didn't know her first name.

I suppose she was MissStake

I recently saw the name "Justin Tynne", I don't know where I saw it, but it makes me  :)  when ever I think of it. What story lies behind that name?
