BRUFF in Glasgow

Hi there,

Can SKS please do a lookup of the 1841 and/or 1851 census for Glasgow for the surname Bruff?  I am looking for any possible information for a Hugh BRUFF who was a brushmaker in Glasgow, who died in 1856.  I know he had at least one brother, Isaac.  It may also be written as BROUGH.  Their parents should be John  Bruff and Elizabeth Kennaghan/Kernachan.

The 1851 index has a Hugh Bruff age 42 with Barbara Bruff aged 39 living in the Outer High area with Margaret Bruff aged 10.

There is also an Isaac Bruff aged 24 living in St. Andrews area.

              In 1841, there is only one family of 'BRUFF'

John and Mary Bruff with two daughters.

I'm unable to locate the family in the 1841 index although there is one BRUFF family living in the Inner High area.

Hugh, Barbara and Margaret are definitely mine.  The John Bruff might be a relation, but he is definitely not old enough to be Hugh's father!
