1871 Census - John Gibson - Hedon - COMPLETED WITH MANY THANKS TO EDMUND
« on: Wednesday 22 February 06 00:29 GMT (UK) »
Looking for John Gibson and family on 1871 census living in Hedon.  On 1881 census he is 39 with wife (Ellen Ann).  He has a son Arthur W who is 12 on 1881 and another son Robert who is 10 and who may or may not be on 1871 census.  His occupation is given as County Court Bailiff.  On 1861 census he is unmarried living at home and occupation is Shoemaker.

With many thanks.

Hello Edmund

Thank you very much for census information.  Looks like John was married twice as on 1881 his wife is Ellen Ann.  I have been on familysearch and found his marriage to Margaret Haynes at Humbleton.  Thank you for filling in 'another leaf on the tree'.

With many thanks again.

Best wishes.
