can anyone look up a william earnshaw b1816.he was born at kirkburton but his children were baptized at all saints church,north street york.
his wife is elizabeth and he should have a son henry b1840

Hello Hol, only just seen your message,

found William Earnshaw christened 6th Oct 1816 parents were John Earnshaw and Lydia.

But there was also a William Earnshaw christened 6th Feb 1815 parents were John and Sarah.

Can't find the Henry as I only have whats available on the IGI plus earlier Earnshaw records upto 1800 at Kirkburton

I have Earnshaws from Kirkburton at about the same time as yours so if you have any further clues like what John called his children that may help.

Y = born in county.

Couldn't see William with the family.
