Stewarts from Avonbank Avondale & surrounding areas..

Please help me???

I'm looking for info on my ggg grandfather on my paternal side. All I know is that his name was Duncan Stewart,was a canal boatman when his son was born his wife was a Sarah Roberston, as far as I know they had one son called Duncan Stewart b.1866 d.1937 his son Alexander signed the death cert. when Duncan Stewart when died 1937 was a farmer and haulage contractor his wife was Janet Miline. this couple had 9 kids William Stewart was my g grandfather. If anyone one has any info on any of these people above I would be very grateful to hear anything that can be proven with documentation. I also know that we are linked to the Stewart & sons Haulage contractor of Lanarkshire though whether it was Duncan Stewart b1866 or his father that founded the company I honestly don't know. Anything on these sues would be helpful.
