Hi Gary

Are you still active on this site?  Is anyone active on this site?

It's some years since there was any correspondence.

Cheers

Hi Rob

You don't seem to have been on here for a while so I hope you get a chance to respond.

We share the same ancestor, Archibald McBride and his son John (wife Christina/Christian Robison/Robertson).  I then go down through Archibald McBride (deep sea pilot of Greenock), his daughter, Christian and her illegitimate son, known later as Robert McBride b 1870) - he is my grandfather.

If you are interested in reading more about that family and their descendants, I can send you (or anyone else who reads this) a heap of information set out in narrative form.

Regards
Jack
