Hardraw Church Records
« on: Monday 27 February 06 20:12 GMT (UK) »
Just wondering if anyone has access to the above?
I am looking for the christening of Ellen Foster Balderstone born 1883 (sept qtr) as I would like to trace mother & father's name.
I am also interested in the marriages of Richard S Balderstone & Ellzabeth A in I think 1890, I would like to know Elizabeth's maiden name.
Similarly I am interested in Richard S Balderstone's christening around 1836 as I don't know his father's name.
Would be very grateful for any help.

thankyou in anticipation

They will be at the Record Office in Northallerton.  The earlier ones are on the IGI (www.familysearch.org) but the later ones are not.
Try the IGI for Richard in 1836 and he might be there.

Yes he is.   Parents William and Elizabeth.   If you put in a search for Balderstone with those parents and just put the batch number C089491 then you get his siblings too.   If you leave out the parents then you might get all other Balderstone entries.  Try changing the C to an M and you might get marriages.
