Stephen Smart born 1839 married in Worcestershire 1876 at St Peter the Great, his wife was a widow, I have nothing for him before or after this marriage.  He is the father of my grandad, my grandad was chucked out by his step sisters at the age of 11 when his mum died they said he was illigitement, he was not as I have their marriage certificate, it gives Stephens father as Thomas Smart.  My grandad had gone under the name of his mothers former husband Crump.  He lost everything and was trampled by a horse and was after that crippled, this due to his step sisters, awful I think my poor grandad did not know he was not illegitmate
