John Rowlands - Christchurch Newport

I have been able to identify a John Rowlands who was born around 1789 as coming from Christchurch in Newport.

I have been unable to find any other information than this and this was obtained from census information.

Could any one help with further information or possible sources of further research as I suspect that Christchurch was a relativly small hamlet at the time of his birth.

My information indicates that John moved north to the Rhymney / Ebbw Vale area where he married Keziah Jones.

Any help or suggestions would be of great assistance.

   Visiting an LDS Family History Centre and ordering the film of the parish records for Christchurch will help you maybe find batptisms and marriages for your Rowlands.
