Lititia Craig..Broughty Ferry

Hi,
Looking for the birth of Letitia Craig, father, John, a coastguard.
She married in Kirkmaiden in 1862/3 spouse James Richmond. They were in Kilwinning in 1864.
Census' give her as born in Broughty Ferry C 1840.
Maybe a 1841 census would show her? Her family are in Kirkmaiden on the 1851, but not her (as far as I can find)
Any help please.

I did some searching for you.
Lettitia Craig married James Richmond 26th Feb 1863,
at Drumore, Kirkmaiden Wigtown.
He was 35yrs and she25yrs.
His father was John Richmond Coal Miner Deceased.
and Mother Margaret Richmond, maiden name Caston?
Lettitia's father was John Craig Superintendent ? and Coastguard.
mother Isabella Tinney.

I know you have this, but I see things a little different.
1851 Census
Portlogan Village, Kirkmaiden, Wigtown.
john        Craig    52yrs Coastguard/Boatman. Ireland
Isabella  Craig    48yrs Ireland
Isabella  Craig    11yrs, Kirkmaiden. daug
John,      Craig    unmar, 18, Ireland. son.
Margaret Craig   Mar, 28yrs, seamstress,                     Ireland.daug.
Martha,   Craig   7yrs, Kirkmaiden.daug.
Mary       Craig   9yrs,Kirkmaide. daug.

I think Lettitia was born about 1837/38, the parents were already in Kirkmaiden by 1841census, as Isabella was already born.
So I would be looking at the 1841 in Kirkmaiden,to see Lettitia, at home.
the only thing is it won't say were see was born .
It will only say see was born out of the county.
I just broke my cd of 1881 scotland so can't verify what I presume you already know about har saying she was born in Broughty Ferry.
You could look at the 1891c, in scotlandspeople.
