Mary Elizabeth Abbott 1904

Hi ,
     I am trying to find information on Mary Elizabeth Abbott born November 1904 in Ireland not sure exactly where.
Fathers name was John Abbott mother not sure.
She used to work in some Lord's house and then went to England.
 Would greatly appreciate any help.

Hi Billabong,
There is no easy way. You will need to purchase the death and marriage certificates and work back from there. Both certificates would more than likely indicate as to who the persons parents were and as to their native place.

HI Pam,
            thanks for the reply I do have the marriage cet thats how I know her father was John Abott she was married in 1926 in England and it has her father as deceased. How do I apply for a birth certificate if I dont know where she was born ? Only know it was Ireland.

           It was Mary Holmes she was married on the 26th october 1929 in the Roman Catholic Chapel In Bingley Yorkshire.
