I think I may be being a bit thick, but could someone tell me where Hamilton Barracks are and also where they are in relation to Maryhill Barracks.

they are (or rather were) about 20 miles apart .... Maryhill Barracks were in the north end of Glasgow in the district of Maryhill. Hamilton Barracks were at the town of Hamilton in Lanarkshire County area.

Hamilton was the depot for the Cameronians and Maryhill for the HLI (Highland Light Infantry)
