I am new to this. Please can sks do a look up for marriage 17 Feb 1814 - Navin, Thomastown per IGI.

Hello brenin,

There are three items which are required when searching for Irish ancestors.

1. Denomination.
2. Parish.
3. Townland.

You'll have to rely on Church records as your ancestors were born prior to the introduction of Civil Registration in Ireland. This happened in 1864. The marriages of Non Catholic were registered from 1845 onwards.
