I have so many old photos but this was the smallest one I had so I picked it.
He does look very smart in his uniform doesn't he?

I think that was the regiment he was in for WW1 (he would have been 45 in 1914) Luckily he was one who came back

have you tried the medal card indexes on National Archives website to see his medal entitlement or do you already have that, its £3.50 to download as a pdf file, maybe you have his medals and service no. off the side?
