1927 Glasgow City Directory

Having seen a name in the 1927 directory, I was wondering if it is possible to find out anymore about the person listed.

I am looking for a Campbell family who were living in Coatbridge for a long time, but according to the 1901 census several of the sons were spirit salesmen.

A real longshot was the name Lachlan Campbell a wine and spirit salesman living/trading at 82 North St, Glasgow according to the 1927 directory.
Is there anywhere I could find out about this listing?

Would be grateful for any help and advice.

According to the 1913 valuation rolls for Glasgow 82 North Street was a tenement block occupied by 6 tenants. Except for the ground floor which is listed as a workshop and is unoccupied.

The only other tack would be to try and trace a license as all dealers would have been licensed by the local council

I am not sure what services they off or the cost of them.
