Thanks again CP especially for the 'extra' information.
You have definately found the correct Abraham in 1851 as he didn't marry until 1852 and was a batchelor. I now know there is a Humphrey connection somewhere.
I know I am pushing my luck but you seem to have such a huge source of info available on Essex so I am asking a favour.  I suspect that Abraham had a brother William c1811 as he turns up in 1851 by the number on the census he is on the next page and you also found him in 1861 living next door. If possible could you check for me if William c1811 has the same parents then if so I can claim him.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Wow!
The plot thickens.
Martha Humphrey nee Bearman wife of Thomas died in 1848. I missed the clue that in 1852 Abraham Bearman married Hannah Humphrey - the one from the 1851 census that you found for me.
Thanks again CP

Kissimmee,

Who are we looking for?

I have been chasing Abrahams  -  all the way back to 1764.

But I keep getting off on tangents!

I appreciate you still trying to find my Abraham Bearman's.
I have an Abraham married 1899 to Susanna(h) Hicks and they had an Abraham baptised 1810 Bocking who in turn married Hannah Humphrey.
I am really trying to piece together the Bocking Bearman's as most of them seem to belong to my family tree.  Trouble is there are so many of them.
Will try to go onto another family surname and give you a welcome break.
Thanks again CP
