Can he/she be tidied up a bit please?
« on: Saturday 04 March 06 15:10 GMT (UK) »
I think this picture was taken in about 1902, it has just been sent to me by a distant relative.  Not sure who the toddler is yet and although baby is wearing a dress ... not sure whether a little boy or a little girl!

Appreciate someone working their magic ... this could be my grandfather Im looking at.

Many Thanks
Sue

Hi Sue,

Have you scanned it in - if so it is in greyscale - we will get better results if you can rescan in colour - (yes even tho it is a B/w image!! ;))

Cheers

Thanks Keith ... the picture has been sent to me so I cannot rescan from this end.  I will see what I can do.

Thanks Keith and Tomkin ... brilliant work and that door has been photographed quite a few times!
It helps to pinpoint where the photo was taken.

Hmmmm now think the toddler must be a little girl because she seems to be holding a dolly in her hand.  Back to the drawing board I think to see what other grandchildren could have visited the house around 1902!

Great work!

Hi Annie,
I thought that you had left the country.
I only noticed the door because it's just like the
backdoor of our pub. I always comment on it as I
crawl past on my way home.
